Please note that the glow effect is achieved through photo-luminescent properties, which require prior exposure to UV light for optimal performance. Sunlight and sources of conventional light work great, however, the best results can be achieved using a dedicated ultraviolet light source (UV flashlight, banknote testing light, UV curing light, etc.) Due to nature of glow in the dark material, the orange and blue lights are visually less intense than green when exposed to the same amount of UV light. This is a limitation of the technology and is not considered to be a defect.
